A complete interior renovation was preformed on this prewar hotel that had seen its heyday decades before. New mechanical systems were installed along with new plumbing, HVAC, electrical and fire alarm systems.

The Hotel Metro was upgraded from a low-income SRO into a hotel. The Metro now serves the busy Manhattan tourism market as an upscale, luxury hotel.
