Oceanside Library

This three phase project encompassed the complete reconstruction of the existing main library and the addition of a new two-story connecting structure. The project was a combination of matt slab foundation, bentonite water proofing, structural steel, brick, EIFS and curtain wall facade, elevator and roof top air conditioning units.

Phase I was demolishing the existing wood frame houses and beginning the new construction, while maintaining the existing main library. Phase II was closing the main library, connection of the two buildings and completion of the interiors.

Phase III commenced after the new library was opened and included the demolition of additional wood frame buildings, the completion of the second parking lot and sitework.
