This one hundred-year-old, former chocolate factory was completely renovated and restored while its interior spaces were converted into luxury condominium lofts. New mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were incorporated and the existing structure was reinforced to support four additional floors of penthouses. Complicating matters, was the fact that there were ten existing tenants in the building whose safety needed to be ensured and whose utilities could not be interrupted during construction.
The resulting building features stylish, loft-like residences with a historic appeal, and custom standard finishes and detailing. All units incorporate T1 lines, AV wiring for individual room control, and state-of-the-art video security to two lobby entrances.
